Cyberpunk 2077

What was the project about?

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure RPG set in the dark future of Night City — a dangerous megalopolis obsessed with power, glamor, and ceaseless body modification.

As a part of the Community team, our main goal was to maintain a strong connection between CD PROJEKT RED and its community. We were responsible for its brand image and we took care of all the posts that our community members see on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram.

The Sales

I was in charge of sharing sales information with our community. This involved coordinating the delivery of assets and crafting the copy for it.

Photo Mode Challenge communication and judging

Me and my team conducted the Photo Mode Challenge competition, where community members needed to capture a shot from the game according to the given category — chosen by the community team. The categories resolved around the Cyberpunk 2077 world and its elements, such as citizens, vehicles or just a personal gamer experience of the game. My responsibilities included copywriting for our communication channels, overseeing the creation of terms and conditions with our legal team and judging the best entries.

Awards-focused posts

Additionally, I handled the coordination of asset delivery for specific awards or events where the CD PROJEKT RED’s games or employees received recognition. On top of that, I also crafted social media copy for each of them.

TikTok content creation

One of my initiatives was also creating a couple TikToks to engage with our community and interact with them through memes. One of the biggest highlights was creating a viral TikTok that gained 2.1 M views, becoming the most popular video on the brand account. Due to the high popularity of this TikTok, the account gained 20,000 new followers throughout the next two weeks. The typical growth during this period is 4,000 making it 5x times larger than the usual.

I strongly resonate with Gen Z humor and I am up to date with all the new TikTok trends. I would love to continue on expanding my skill in this area.
